Vladimir Yashin

Fullstack developer with 13 years in software, now at Yandex Lavka. A combination of experience few people have: six years running my own IT startup — a GTA San Andreas game server that grew to 500 concurrent players — five years in game development with three games shipped to the stores, and today AI features in Yandex's product.

What I do

Four areas where I take a task end to end — from the first line to production.

Products end to end

Server, API, interface and admin panel — I build them myself and take them to real users. My own product worked exactly like that: everything from the code to the marketing was on me.

AI inside the product

Shipping AI features at Yandex Lavka: product translations into other languages, automatic generation of some attributes, AI review of every product card before publication. I write the frontend, the backend and the logic behind those features.

Game development

UI, gameplay logic and shared client-server code in mobile titles that shipped to the stores. Unity and C# — from prototype to release build.

AI in the workflow

For the past six months every piece of code — features, review, build, deploy — has been written together with AI agents. It multiplied my output: what used to take days now ships in an evening.

“Can you dig it?” I can dig, I can pass — or I can make a neural network dig for me.
